Sam breathes smoke into the camera in this shot, to enhance this I slowed down the speed.

  

For the transition into the next shot I used the 'additive dissolve' effect which made the screen look really smoky! So it worked perfectly.

When Sam wakes up, I wanted him to look stoned and weary so I put on 'nightmode' and changed the contrast using the effects on premiere pro. As you can see, this has taken the colour out of his face and the room as if he disorientated.
